Revix Padoquartz

Post10 May 2016, 14:39

Hi guys, just to show you my second led watch, ehm yes i'm not a led man
Found at fleamarket in unused conditions with box and paper this Revix Padoquartz for a bargain price
It's all stainless steel with mesh fully adjustable strap that fits fine on my wrist with a classic dress design.
The module is the well know Hughes Aircraft manufactered in March 1976 (only time and date,no weekday) and then sold in december of the same year.I suppose that the previous owner did not wear it: no batteries inside no scratches and a super clean module ;-)
Revix was a Swiss brand active in mechanical watches during the 50's and 60's. During the 70's released some lcds watches using ESA module (i have one here).Anyway the brand disappear ages ago leaving no traces, so is impossible found any other info.

Here some pics...

Some watches, simply are not made to last
