Litronix brutal module

Post19 Oct 2019, 23:50

I found quite interesting LED module and fit it in Russian proto case (maybe for bulgarian Buletronic). It doesn't work - should be repaired - needs to weld in a few wires. Three digits are with 7 segments, the last one - with nine.

These have to be one of the worst modules ever made they are extremely fragile even the QC was rubbish, I used to own a pristine watch case and it took forever to get a working module for it then sold it on.

How hard would it have been to put a blob or two of resin around all those wire bonds

I like this module because of it was the first I liked in Peter Doensen's book :)
