I managed to acquire a well used Heuer Chronosplit LED watch. It's the gold plated version but really scuffed up where parts of the gold plating is gone. Question to the forum is can this gold plated finish be converted to a stainless steel finish? More specifically, does anyone know if the base material of the gold plated chronosplit LED is a stainless steel case?
