I'm not sure I see how what you're saying is possible. I just looked at my own feedback record, and it is precisely the same as I would see if I looked at eBay. What's going on that I didn't see? Did I miss something...?

I figure if someone, buyer or seller, only has 1-2% of negatives, they are beating the odds. There are all kinds of screwballs, and those little feedback blips don't tell anything about what went wrong. :?

Through eBay, you can read the individual feedbacks every member has gotten. I'm amazed that anybody has managed [and I don't care WHAT you're selling] 10,000, all-positive feedbacks. In any event, the only really interesting feedbacks anybody gets are the NEGATIVE ones; why was it given, was any attempt made to correct the situation, etc? By defination, I don't worry about the positives...it means the transaction went well; the telling cases are the ones where a problem developed; what happened, and how [or if] it was resolved, speak volumes about the character of [one, sometimes both], the parties involved.

To Bruce's point, eBay's feedback score and the Toolhaus one should be identical. If mine was different, I would be VERY VERY nervous that someone hijacked my user account. If you visit eBay's discussion boards you will see that this is much more common than one would think.

Common methods for this happening include answering non-eBay eMails, spyware on a PC, no firewall, etc etc.

Bruce, I agree that the negatives are more interesting, but they are pretty inconclusive. My history:I have 4 negatives out of 419. On one the person charged for insurance and high-end shipping($35 EMS), but sent it by regular mail($2.30), I ask for a partial refund= they get pissed. Another never delivers a $300 watch, so I make a PayPAl claim and win =they are pissed. I complain after a person doesn't deliver for 10 weeks = they are pissed. Someone sends me a modern,dollar store watch in a Commadore box(foolishly leaving a packing slip from their place of employment,with their name on it in the box ...allowing me to call them at work )=super pissed!!
Am I apologetic on any of these transactions? Hell no!! And I still figure I am greatly beating the odds for running into nutjobs and rip-off artists. :D
