1 I select the time, of course it is in 24 hour format and local. To change time zones and dates just add the change be it +12 or -5 etc to the existing time and the time and date change automatically. Easy!
2 I have selected the date, changeable from m/d/y to d/m/y as in my case.
3 For ease of demonstration I input a flight time leg of 10:00:00 in hours:minutes:seconds in length to the stop watch.
4 I start the stop watch and it starts a count down for time remaining.
multiply the countdown display of the stop watch by the average fuel flow and I get a running total of fuel remaining in the burn for the length of the leg.
5 I reselect stop watch and see the time remaining.
all other functions including keyboard and calculator or still available.
This would also work as a count up stop watch and when multiplied by a dollar amount, say for long distance you would get a running total of the cost not the time. Once finished store the dollar amount in memory and hit stop watch and see the time also.
Don't know anyother watch that will do that.
