hey does anyone know or ever seen a vintage led watch with rolling dice. when you press the bottom button and hold it the watch rolls dice.right know the dice work but the time is showing one digit and flickering the rest. i assume it needs a new quartz crystal.

Thanks for the pic. Interesting, i'd never seen one before. The 'dice' are composed of seven individual LED's?

I may be wrong, but the time display malfunction does sound like a bad crystal to me, maybe others can be more help.

I had never seen one either. but here is the story on this watch. i got it from a jewler that was givin to him to repair. after telling the customer he could not repair it the owner told him to just keep it. the jeweler told me the customer had it custom made and it was a prototype that never took off. it was to be sold in casino's in the 70s. the name of the DR> on the front of the watch is the guy who was having them made. this was his watch. he is a dean at a colledge right now. that is all i know about the watch other then I have it now. when and if i get it fixed i will sell it to the highest offer of course. i will work on it in the next couple days.

ok below is a link to a pic of the module. i did put in another crystal and i don't know what i did wrong but know i am getting nothing or sometimes one dice lites up and does it's thing. i am done playing with it as i don't want to ruin it. if anyone is interested in it let me know. it is very repairable. there are no wire bonds off anywhere i checked with the scope. when the pic opens click on the picture and it will get bigger. tim
