i know that national /semi made three variations on their modules ie, dot matrix line segment and the magnified lenses.
its interesting to note the earlier dot matrix module seams to be made in the far east while the later ,and last version was made in the usa.i would have thought the last modules would have been sourced from the far east.also there looks to be two versions of the dot matrix module and it concerns the display of the number 6 and 9.on some the 6 is displayed without the top horizontal segments lit and others it has, creating a more "curly" number.with the number 9 the same applies.
