Beltime LED watches were produced by the Belair Electronics company in Zürich/Switzerland. Approx. mid to late 1970s. (ca. 1976-1978 is my personal guess)

While its officially a "swiss" watch Belair just imported cheap (But quite reliable compared with other "nonamers") LED watch modules from Asia (Hong Kong) and also "standard" cases/Straps that gave the watches the typical 70s look and resulted that these watches are usually regarded along with noname brands as the "cheaper" and more common brands.

They aren't innovative in any way as they use standard modules and cases, nothing special. But still they'd be a great everyday use watch that gives you the typical "hey look its LED" style while being available at affordable prices. You can even impress your non-LED collecting friends with "hey its a SWISS watch". ;-)

The company doesn't exist anymore, after importing other electronics from far east with less success they finally went bankrupt many years ago.
