ANOTHER 14K PRM on eBay!?

Post04 Jan 2008, 03:46

Incredible! Never seen before on eBay, now two in two weeks. Is somebody running an illegal time portal and snatching these things out of the past? Obviously, this seller saw the last auction, so don't expect this one to go any cheaper...should go higher; it's serial 502, only the second one made. What's next, a wheelbarrow full of P1s? The parade of rarities goes on...

This one is INCREDIBLY badly listed; he has the model number [7725] correct, but doesn't use LED in the listing title, so it doesn't show up on the usual "Pulsar LED" search. Never heard of the seller before...certainly doesn't specialize in LED watches, so how he came into this fantastically rare item [and apparantly knew what he had] is a complete mystery. Anyway, item number is 150201002273. Mediocre pics, but they tell the story...

This is hilarious; the guy has figured out that it [sort of] works, so his BIN price has gone from 10 to 15K$...I guess he's trying to make 8,500 bucks [which I'm sure he'd take] look like a real bargain...

The guy ended up yanking the auction before it ended.

I wonder if he sold it privately? Or if he decided that he'd sit on it a little while longer.

Slightly off topic but not completely, the module of a stainless one before I [sucessfully] silver epoxied the display back on. For those curious what's inside one of these. :-)
