Let me try and answer some of your questions.
1. I would say that the quality and fit of the the watch is very good, Pulsar's where on the whole renown for their quality.
2. Unfortunately I do not have a Majestyk to compare the Pulsar to in order to give you a size comparison.
3. I always take care when wearing the Pulsar, as I do a lot of my watches, I have some watches that I consider as daily wear, this one is more for the special occasion. It has a plastic lens rather than glass, this is quite common for these watches. The lens does not protrude above the case so it should be better protected from scratches. Mine is still as new after 2 years.
4. I would say it is average weight - although I am sure I have seen a listing which gives the actual weight of the watch. I sure someone on the forum will be able to give you the actual weight of the watch.
5. The watch thickness, measured to the best of my ability is 10mm it also measures 40mm lug to lug (total length) and 32mm across.
6. I think this watch is as good now as it was then.
7. I personally wouldn't consider $595 an excessive price.
Although I do not own a Majestyk I would be highly surprised if the band was not adjustable.
The Majestyk is a nice watch and there are members on the forum who are avid fans, I am in no way knocking the Majestyk, but you mentioned the size as being a factor. Although I do not have exact sizes I know that the Majestyk is quite a big timepiece so if you are looking for a moderately small timepiece it may not be the watch for you. Personally I like 'chunky' watches and I think the Majestyk would look equally as good on a small wrist as it would a large wrist but I didn't want to mislead you with the size. I am sure another forum member will be able to give you the exact dimensions of the watch so you can make a comparison.
I think the two watches are on equal footing as far as reliability and durability etc are concerned, although you would probably get a guarantee with the Majestyk.
There is a write up on the Majestyk here, also shows the watch alongside other watches to give an idea of the size of the watch.
