LED watches with stopwatch feature?

Post31 Mar 2009, 15:46

Does anyone know of any brands/models with a stopwatch?

I bought the following unidentified watch off ebay, which has a stopwatch!

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... 0111657574

It's the first vintage LED I've encountered with one. Can anyone identify the make?

Gillette - in different cases. The very first LED watch I acquired on ebay was one of these.

Nice watch & a bargain price paid, great purchase, well done.

Stopwatch (chronograph) watches are relatively rare, I have four in my collection, I would have had five, but got out bid on the fifth one

1. Synchronar.
2. Sicura.
3. Mercury.
4. Gilllette.

Any makers markings on your watch?

Don't feel bad Mick - your Mercury and the Hamilton have the same module - made by Frontier. Actually quite a few that used the Frontier module: Advance, Sears(Phaser), Gruen, Vantage(by Hamilton) and a number of others.

All these brands mentioned and no one remembered what I consider the best of the bunch - the Hewlett Packard HP-01.
