Saturn LED Module?

Post08 Nov 2009, 20:37

Hi.

Does anyone know what module is used in this Saturn LED watch? Also, if anyone knows of other watches that share this module, please chime in:

One more question: does anyone know of an LED watch module "database" (web page, table, spreadsheet etc.) for determining what modules went into each of the various cases?

That would be a very handy thing to have, it would probably mean an on going post (sticky) so members could add in the various modules for different cases.

That module seems to have been made by Armitron or exclusively for them, as it is only found in their lines of watch - 29mm in diameter. The contact pattern is also a little off from any other brand. There are Saturn, Quasar and Armitron models that use that module, which has a bulbous red face[to the module] that is not found on any other make, certainly not to the degree. While hunting for a module, don't buy one of these, as they have a much larger 33mm module.

Thanks! I didn't realise that this watch would be so difficult to find a module for. Good to know.
