Bowmar LED watch display issue

Post10 Nov 2009, 20:12

Hello, I just bought a Bowmar LED watch which is the same one as shown in the digital marketplace by London_funk (LED-Bowmar) on June 2, 2009 (also shown in the photos section under Led Bowmar by Collin Thomas). I'm trying to find out what function is suppose to be displayed when you press the bottom button and how you set this function. When I press down this button the numbers 1 through 31 can be set to the left of the two dots and this number seems never to change after being set while the numbers to the right of the two dots show the seconds that can be set. If I continue to hold down the button the seconds display is only shown. The top button correctly displays the time in an AM/PM format and can be correctly set. I think my watch is not correctly displaying the function when I press once the bottom button and I'm trying to find out as fast as possible if this is true as I would then return the watch for a refund. Do you know the answer to this question and if not can you forward this question to someone who may know this answer. Thank you in advance for your help.

welcome bodie.

bottom button = displays date e.g 31.09 (31st sep)
(some leds reverse that = 09 31
set button allows setting of date 1-31,month 1-12
top button = time etc

apart from that unless iam a thicko..dont answer that .lol
thats it, you should be able to set all functions.

The bottom button displays - - : - - where the numbers to the left of the two dots display the day (1 through 31) which will change at midnight if the dot to the left of the hour time display signifies AM rather than PM. However, the numbers to the right of the two dots can not be set for months but instead displays the seconds. The seconds are displayed alone without the number for the day when you continue to hold down the bottom button. Is this how the display should work or is the watch malfunctioning because you can not set a number for the month? Does anyone out there have this watch? Thank you again.

Does anyone have an idea how to fix the above mentioned display problem where it shows the day:seconds instead of the day.month (or where I could send the watch for repair)? Thank you in advance for your reply.
