Bruce is right about the dimensions not being the only factor - overall thickness or even the degree to which the bezel or crystal protrude can dramatically change how someone feels about a piece on their wrist. And weight is a factor too: I know there are many watches I love but the weight of them on my wrist bothers me. I had once thought about making a nice outline of some classic piece that could be superimposed over items I have for sale on my site....then I realized I would have to adjust each picture so each item was shown at correct relational size(way too much work)
and the buyer would have to be familiar with my choosen "classic" for it to make any sense at all.

If you see a piece you like, ask the seller for dimensions or tell yourself you will sell it off if you don't like it's size.

Watches should be bought with your "discretionary funds" so that concept isn't too egregious - every interest has a price.
