Hi AULDAD,
If you want to learn more about this watch I would suggest looking at the previous posts in the "Pulsar" section of the forum. Here you'll learn alot about this particular model as well as other Pulsars and Pulsar history.

PigeAULD2, if you would have looked at those old posts under the Pulsar section you would have determined:
There is no registry of the serial numbers on the case backs (yet?)
And there is nothing particularly rare about this module

Are the pinwheel battery contacts giving you the impression this is very rare? It's an earlier model, but not 'rareified'. In fact, most people hate these pinwheel jobs. And it's missing the Pulsar sticker on the module - which believe it or not - drops the value of the watch immensely. I'll give you 40 quid for it. ;-)

I'm a pretty new collector but I'm not so sure that is a rare module. You can find info on the P2 and a pic of that module on Piotr's (azimuth_pl - currently blocked) website.

Nice looking watch, by the way. I also have a running "non-runner." It's like finding burried treasure to a new collector like me. :-D

Fair enough. I'll give you 80 quid + Shipping and Handling.
After all, it's not like you're selling an Omega. Those are ugly a*s watches, don't you think??

Serial numbers on the P2s range from the very low 10000s to the low 80000s, so it's a safe bet they made at least 70000 of them. At around 47000, you're just about dead-center of the production run. The only watch Time Computer made more of is the Date/Command; serial numbers suggest production exceeded 100000, making it the flagship model of the Pulsar line [and probably the model most people picture when you say "Pulsar", or even "LED watch"]. The majority of the first 35-40 thousand P2s had the early, large circuit-board, one-trimmer, pinwheel-contact modules [as well as the great majority of the re-fitted P1s]. Just to add a minor complication...there are two different styles of the pinwheels...the one you see here, and one where the extensions, instead of being straight, are curved in short arcs. I have seen the curved ones are more frequently found in earlier watches [all six of my P1s have the curved style contacts].

Oh god, you're killing me. Quit it.

I don't get it- where is the joke here that I'm missing? :?:
What do 3 pigeons have to do with this model Pulsar or with AULDLAD ? Has this whole forum gone to the birds!?

Okay AULDLAD,
I apologize for my previous post -just having some fun in good spirit. As we know the previous piegon had problems with spelling, and you mentioned you do too. (not that you needed to :-P ). I think the proper spelling of your name may be: ALS. I believe this would explain a number of things.
