Lloyd! Time for reading glasses!! This item is in Minnetonka, Minnesota, not Scotland. Seller is iversonautomotive. All that aside, we see the watch part working, but not the calculator (it has become comon practice to put up all six "8"s to show that, as well as demonstrate that there are no missing segments in the display). Ask the seller for that. Assuming the calculator IS working, this is an excellent package, an acceptable deal at $900, good at $800, great at $700, unbelieveable at $600. I'm guessing his reserve is at $800-ish. But I would want to see the calculator working before I bid, and the outer box, too (no sign of that in the pics, either, but that wouldn't be a deal-breaker...non-working calculator section would be).

Yes, i know i just get worried when i see incorrect spelling on a Pulsar auction. And when i saw pigeon on his feedback list who he bought a calc from i got even more concerned. Im not saying the seller is not genuine.

Ummm, to quote "because of the age of this watch there are no additional guarantees and it is sold as is"- WHY? After 30 odd years most LED watches are, in reality, more reliable than when first made (time has weeded out the bad electronics and poor assembly work) and since this one is in good external condition I suspect it may be a battery killer- runs fine when you first pop the batteries in but give it a couple of days and they will be completely flat.

klaritee & spelin, that's what we nede. one wonders why there isn't a photo of the calc. i have the s/s version of this piece and the calculator is difficult to use. even with the stylus /pen it is slow and tedious entering data. so if the calc does not work it could still be used, but $600+ is waaaay to much. i could be interested just for the g/f case and bracelet. they look pretty nice. peter

So, assume it isn't working, and bid accordingly. I see it's been re-listed (item no. 120661382100), opening at $350. That's reasonable money for what you see. It's kind of pointless to hand-wring over things you're not sure about. I am sure of this...when in doubt, PASS! Believe me, after eight years on eBay, I can assure you that, if you're patient, the exact thing you want WILL show up, sooner or later. Early on, I did a couple of foolish panic-buys, thinking this would be my one-and-only chance at something, only to see another, better, and usually cheaper, item pop up a week, or a month, later. So, relax and take your time; nowhere on Earth does the proverb "All good things come to he who waits" apply more strongly than on eBay!
