Good point there Ed. I have 2 LED watches and 1 LCD watch (70's era) in my collection that have the 'thank you for your years of service' type engraving on the back. Now days you are lucky to get a pen -

I actually have a paper bag going of backs and clasps that have different inscriptions on them. Most people won't buy them, so I had this idea that if I had nothing but time

one day, I would buy one of those flat, glass faced cases they make for displaying thinner items like packet watches or flags on the wall, and make some kind of a montage.

Maybe I should just consider laying them on a piece of cloth and taking a good picture instead.
