Pulsar W309-5009 A2

Post25 Mar 2011, 01:40

Hello,

Wanted to ask if anyone knows anything about this Pulsar model....

- W309-5009 A2

I checked DigitalWatchLibrary.com, and nothing.

Is there a Manual?
Does anyone know the manufacturer date?

Thank you in advance.

Would need to see a photo of the the watch, sometimes they just re number the modules from existing Seiko, Alba or Lorus.

Just checked heres a Lorus with a W309

Not sure about a manual, you may want to try the A904 Seiko manual on the site, its a very similar layout. For the year there should be a long serial number on the back, the first digit is the year and the second the month. For instance the serial number starting '85' The year would be either 1978, 1988, 1998 and the month would be May. If the second digit is either 'O', 'N' or 'D' that would make the month October, November December respectively.

regards

Hello again,

Serial number is: 567871

I got a reply back from Pulsar's Customer Service dept, and they stated the following:

----------------------------------------------------------------

Dear Customer,

Please see the attachment for your watch instructions. This watch was
manufactured in the mid 1980's.

SCA Service Center

----------------------------------------------------------------

They sent me what seems to be the Manual for the "W309" model line, and looks to be accurate for all functions. I still do not have an exact manufacturer date, but mid 80's is close enough I guess.

Thank you all!

Your manufacture date is June 1985 as I stated in my previous post, first digit year, second digit month.
I'd love a copy of the manual for the digitalwatchlibrary.com site if you wouldn't mind sending me one over.
