opinions on this QED II please

Post01 Sep 2011, 06:49

hi,
well ive bought this watch & i would be interested to get members feedback on it - good or bad.

does it look like its the original box?
look restored?
are they the original electronics? frontier?

anything else anyone notices about its originality or condition?

ive probably paid top dollar for it, but thats ok - thats what it was worth to me.

Looks like a nice watch Andy. Box and paperwork look correct to me.
Price seems OK too. Not cheap, but not that dear for a nice boxed example with paperwork.

It looks familiar too :-D

I agree with charger105 you have got yourself a really nice watch! I have the same watch in GF but the SS version looks even nicer. There are also chrono and alarm versions of this watch.

Alarm version: http://www.dwf.nu/viewtopic.php?t=4424& ... lton+alarm

I have posted to Australia from the UK and it usually takes 10 days or more to arrive so I wouldn't worry for another few days yet.

yeah, im sure your right.
he posted it real quick, according to the royal mail tracking it landed in oz 6 days ago.
im hoping it went to the east coast (sydney maybe) and now its coming all the way over this side by road, instead of straight to Perth.

but thanks Bucko170, i feel better about it now :-D

Yeah, don't forget delays for customs  Everything gets an additional looking over due to all the new concerns for terrorism  , and a certain number of packages have to be opened for the usual concerns of illegal items, tax avoidance, etc. - that could add 5 minute 8-) or 5 days  I've had an item get to the UK, from here (middle of USA), in 4 days! But I consider 12-18 days to be the norm. And it depends how the weekends, holidays and such fall, at both ends. :o

Don't worry ~:( , be happy 8-)

It takes at least 2 weeks to arrive in Sydney. Often 3-4 weeks. Strangely, if it's tracked, it normally takes a lot longer than the cheaper shipping options. I'm guessing all the checks that take place along the way mean it sits in in a pile of parcels waiting for the 'rubber-stamping' to occur (several times !).
No need to worry yet.

Yeah, all the slowdown comes near the end of the trip. The government and everybody else shows up like crows approaching a piece of roadkill. "G'me a piece, g'me a piece"
