Seiko talking watch strap

Post20 Dec 2011, 11:57

Hello all,

I am looking for a strap for a seiko talking watch metal grey.
They have a lugsize of 16mm and measure at the case 23/24mm.
Any help would be appreciated.

Kind Regards

Those are cool watches..
I have exactly the same watch in my collection never
been worn complete with inner/outer box and manual.

So this is what the original bracelet looks like.

That is a very nice piece you have there.
I actually stumbled on mine and the price was so interesting I could not resist.
But it came on one of those fixoflex bands which in my opinion look terrible on the watch, as it is only 16mm.
For the moment I cut down a seiko band I had from 18/22 to 16 and it does look better but original is the way to go.

There is one on ebay but it is black...

What about this one?
I think it gets pretty close, and could be sized down to fit your lug size.

That is the strap I have sized down it came on an other seiko I had but I put that one on a leather strap.
If I could find something like this but flairing out to 24 that would be wonderfull.
Thank's for the suggestion.

There are I think 2 black ones on ebay.

This one has been on ebay for a long time and is the correct size, 16mm pins and flaring out to 24mm at the case.
But it is expensive (I would make an offer)
http://www.benl.ebay.be/itm/NOS-VINTAGE ... 1c24606790

The code he gives in his description " THE WATCH BAND ENDS ARE STAMPED: B1661-L"
matches the code http://www.digitalwatchlibrary.com/DWL/ ... wristtalk/

Then there is I think this one
http://www.benl.ebay.be/itm/16mm-Seiko- ... 3a70d8343b
Not specified but possibly the same (ask the seller) and the price is better.
(I paid about 19euro for mine)

Hope this helps

@ Cesar,
Thank you
It does look nice , I was in doubt of selling/trading it but I am not sure anymore...
And I have seen the original box on a secondhand site  But I should stop buying for a while or my wife will go crazy.
