the pulsar lives :)

The main reason for buying the 12 led watch pile, the Pulsar date/command.

After disassembly, no batteries found (phew!) Only one sticker looked a bit "grubby". Battery contacts are spotless.
I temporarely inserted two lr43 batteries, holding them in the correct position with a little bit rodico. (i'll buy sr43 batteries of course)
It works :-D It was a bit of a challenge to set the time and date, I don't have a settings magnet. The bracelet is in bad shape, one of the links is missing its cover. I removed it, and the watch -just- fits my wrist. Adding a link would make wearing it more comfortable though. The segments on the right are less bright than the others. But I don't really mind :-D

well it kinda works like this, but I would like another link to replace it. The third one from the right is removed.

I got a spare link from bruce wegmann :-D My bracelet is complete, only missing the magnet, but I'll wait patiently until something cheap comes along ;*
The lightsensor seems to work also, although it's not a huge difference, dimmed or not.
