Hanno, That's great news about the SASM35 module for the Pulsar 403 with additional DOW display!
I have one that needs repair but no extra the funds at present time. (But I now own a lovely new minivan  )
I'll contact you when I'm ready. :-D

Wow! The 403 DOW looks great! Just what I've been waiting for: I have a Pulsar Big Time that needs a new module. Where do I send it?

Thanks!
Sherry.

The new SASM 17 / 27 series is ready. These modules replace the obsolete SASM15/16/25 series for Pulsar P2 and P3 watches, Hamilton QEDs with dot display and Omega cal. 1600 and 1601 modules.

What has been changed?

- The circuit board layout
- The controller
- The software

What has been improved?

- less battery consumption
- works much better with a lower voltage, i.e. if the batteries are reaching their lifetime the watch still works properly
- The time correction value is stored in the memory. It does not become deleted during a battery change. So you set that value once and don´t have to deal with it again.
- You can choose to set the watch with auto set (magnet set will always work). By default this feature is switched off.
- The SASM17 for one-pusher watches has a date option. By default this feature is switched off.
- Both autoset and date feature adjustments will be stored in the memory, even if batteries are changed.

The manuals can be found over here:

Just caught your module from the customs. Incredible long journey. Actually I am waiting for three watches from the US (different customers!) since the end of June. Anyway it arrived. Hanno.

Can I just post a big thank you for Hanno at Strikes and Spares. I recently sent 2 Pulsar Bigtimes. One was in such a bad state that he needed to substitute a case and a display from one of his own stock to get it running at no extra cost in fact I even received a discount as a regular customer. Both watches were turned around very quickly and are running great in fact the displys are the brightness I've seen and the new software makes it easy to set and use the wrist flick function. That's what I call good customer service. Many thanks.

EDIT: I just got the P3 this morning. It works perfectly. I can't stop thanking Hanno for his amazing work. Without his passion for LED watches and his intensive work to resurrect them, I would never be able to wear it working. Thank you very much Hanno! :-D

The new SASM50 / 51 series is ready. It took a long time but finally a new circuit board, the newest microprocessor and the latest software make this module a perfect replacement for Omega 1602s or Hamiltons with pushers at 1 and 3 o clock.

The SASM50 comes with a dot display (like the early Frontier 2002), the SASM51 has the rare line display used on the late Frontier 2002 modules. The first one goes to Australia (the dwf member had to wait 4 months) the second to the States!

Your module has been shipped today. Moreover I´ve completed the SASM50 and 51 manuals. They are available at the "New Modules" section at StrikesAndSpares.com.

By the way I am pretty sure that you get the module which is pictured above.

Look at the picture above. The X or cross should be the positive indicator, the bar with the dot (for a better battery connection) shows battery minus.

Are you missing the battery terminals? If yes I am not wondering that the display does not work.

This weekend I made some software changes on my SASM modules...

All modules:

- ultra fast button response
- 5 times higher display refresh rate
- totally new time correction feature

in addition:
SASM30 (P4, magnet set) added additional autoset feature
SASM52 (Omega 1603 module) lowered current flow
SASM52 (user - settings are stored in the memory even when changing batteries.

Next module available will be for the Sinclair black watch.

Hanno.

Amazing Hanno and congratulations with achieving another step for mankind :)
I guess the only one left to salvage would be a GP Casquette module?
