Just want to let you know that I might no be reachable by email from tomorrow until 02.10.2009. All packages which are already on the way to Germany will be picked up, so there´s no need to worry!

Here´re some news regarding the new modules:

P4: Programming is ready but has to be veryfied with a working module, all parts are in my hands, all circuit boards have to be done again (layout problem).

Omega Cal. 1602: Circuit boards are ready and working, all parts are here, programming needs to be completed. (I hopefully find the time to do that during my holiday..)

P2 (SASM-11): This is the replacement for very early P2 modules with the light sensor UNDER the display. The board is ready and can be ordered.

I did some digging a few months back into LED watches which displayed the date the 'European' way, I only managed to find two - one was a MBO and the other was a 'KIC' which I got from a fellow forum member (no I'd never heard of them either) the module from that one did come in handy for my Panquartz though.

It´s time for a holiday again and we have 30 days / year in Germany. We are going to drive through the States and I am already meeting a few collectors. We will leave on 28.09.2011 and return on 23.10.2011. Of course I will carry some exchangement modules with me.

Packages to Germany during that time will be picked up of course.
Just to let you know in case you cannot reach me by phone. We will be available through email and of course you can meet me in person or just send your stuff to an US destination where I can pick up your watch.

Ah, holidays...

Here in the U.S., we don't believe in holidays for the common folk.

Aside from a brief period between jobs, I haven't had a holiday since 2006, and that was a working trip. So much for Freedom, life liberty and the pursuit of happiness and all that. Back to your regularly scheduled watch discussion...

Hi Abe,

yes I know that I am lucky. We do have 30 days + national holidays excluding weekends. The strange thing is that you can be fired if you try to work during that time (except doing work in your garden, own car repairs etc or work on your house). That´s the law and I like it.
