Right now I'm having this problem, Got it out the box put new batteries and work good, the next day it stop working
I put it on a battery pack and got it to work but then quits again. The module looks very clean and no residue of corrosion
The only thing I can think of is the QC. Here is a picture or the module. This is the first time I get one that is no painted
but is cover with a light coat of silicon.
I waited a few days to see if I had any luck and the module just came to life on its own but it just didn't happen.
Is such a beautiful module and soo clean, is a shame it just quit working. I built a tester and checked the crystal Oscillator and it was not working
I procceded to do a piggy back Oscillator chip, I did not desolder the QC from the module, I left it there, see what happens.
Is working great now. I had luck before with the chips, I got some that keep good time and lost less than a second every 2 days, I can live with that.
