Weird Frankenstein or maybe the last P3 generation module?

hi,
just spotted this watch once it was already sold.
I wouldn't bother reviewing the auction in more detail but it got me intrigued why the price was quite high for a 250$ watch ending at 417$.
well, this might be the reason as the P3 module appears to either be a professionally remastered Frankenstein or a very late or last generation of a production P3 module.
there is an RCA branded chip proper for the time period and the watch is in a Swiss EPSA case being one of the last made probably 1974/75.
any comments are appreciated, I have inquired to the seller for pictures of the front of the module.
the display is the correct one so this piece is quite interesting.

I think I will remove the ceramic chip holder on the module and see if a chip has been mounted under this holder.

Looks to be a curious and very skilful bit of rebuilding- the RCA CD4007AX is a pair of buffers and is probably being used to form an oscillator circuit to replace the failed one on the P3- nowadays you can buy "easy" replacements incorporating oscillator and crystal in one tiny pack and this can be hidden on the other side. The tiny ceramic flat package version of this chip is not easy to come by even back then as they normally found their way into satellites and military hardware- RCA 1972 data book shows this package as having a square "flip top" soldered on, but I have seen the round tops before.
