SOLID 18K GOLD LCD PULSAR CALCULATOR

Post09 Mar 2013, 11:57

Good morning,

I see ULi (LED FOREVER) is still trying to sell his beautifull watch, 6D 5Hrs to run. No bids yet, selling at £27,500  however you do get free postage not too many people around willing to fork out that kinda of money, any rich collectors out there?.

He also has a georgeous Girard Perregux led digital CASQUETTE for sale, that one is doing good 31 bids so far, highest bid $2,000 WITH 2d18Hrs to run, however the shipping charges are quite high $135, I just had a TAG HEUER EXCLUSIVE solid 18K GOLD/SS shipped over from Texas and that was only $38 from Texas by UPS.

I sincerely hope Uli can unload his Pulsar Calculator surely there has got to be somebody out there.

Regards,
KARNAK

Well, Uli's Calculator is Uli's problem; at that price, it will never sell (BTW, it's in dollars, not pounds). He's asking about three and a half times what it's worth in the current market (optimistically, US$7-8K, unless you've just won a major lottery and don't care what you pay for anything). Nobody's saying it isn't rare and beautiful, just grossly overpriced. I must admit, I'd be curious to hear the thinking behind the twilight-zone valuation. Personally, I think it's just a ploy to keep it up there while he waits for a private offer from somebody with more money than common sense. I can't see any calculator being worth more than a P1.
