Sinclair Black watch

Post06 Jun 2013, 00:26

Hi all. Have just been looking at the bidders on this Sinclair black watch. The price seems a little high to me or am I just suspicious?

Does seem a bit pricey for an untested (likely tested and doesn't work) watch, with the crystal missing. Nice inner and outer box though, and the more rare metal bracelet.

Yes I agree. Its just that bidder with 0 feedback that has bumped the price right up does seem a bit suspect. You never know, the buyer may be someone from the forum.

I know what you're saying, but I get very strange bidding patterns on my auctions often, not 0 bidders as I have them blocked, but low score bidders often bid in strange ways, like bids in several increments of £1 etc. It's easy to look at the way an item gets bid on and think the seller is shill bidding, but it's not always the case ;-)

The same with the price too, I get items end much higher than expected, along with items which make much less than expected, eBay can be a strange place sometimes.

Yes you are right. The 0 won it but did pay a very hefty price in my opinion. That pulsar that you posted about sold for a pretty low price. I didn't see that auction otherwise I may have had a little bid on that one myself.

It certainly would have been a better buy than this Sinclair!
