Ladies Pulsars - Module question

Hi
My OH has one of these oval SS P4's:

It has an intermittent fault I haven't been able to fix, despite some help from the forum. She really likes the watch and wants me to repair it.

Will this module serve as a replacement, does anyone know? At the price it's worth a try if it does unless anyone has an alternative suggestion.

Yes, the modules in these two watches are (theoretically) interchangeable. There is no guarantee, though, that the display and setting functions will work properly, due to potential mismatches between the button magnet strengths and reed switch sensitivities. A function may activate and not shut off, or not come on at all. It might be necessary to adjust or replace one or more switches to get the module to operate correctly in a different case (Time Computer had this same problem...their solution was to simply have a large stock of modules they could try until they found a compatible one...an option we no longer have). It's just something to keep in mind when shopping for a replacement module (for any but the Touch-Command or Calculator models).

Thanks Bruce. The time traffic website makes it sound like swapping a screw over. I didn't buy it and it went for £30!
