My new-to-me Quartzmatic, and a question

Found it at a thrift store for $3.
I like the empty space over two-thirds of the face.
The band must be original because it is stamped Quartzmatic.
There is a 1976 datestamp inside.

Does anyone know if the white "Quartzmatic" lettering (or the red plastic face itself) would be damaged by an ultrasonic cleaning?

Hi and welcome to the board.

normally it will be no problem as long as you don't cook the watch , most of the time, i open the case and get the module out before i put it in the ultrasonic.
btw..nice watch.

oh yes, I will definitely remove the module first. It pops out easily.

That's a nice watch with the Frontier module day of the week and magnifying time screen. Like Kasper said, don't cook it and remove the Module.
By the way I use only dish soap when I clean mine ultrasonically with good results

a sad day yesterday. I got home from a trip and realized my red plastic face piece had fallen off somewhere along the way.
