hi all.

i have this marcel believed to be a alarm function.
hmmm how do i set it?
i have no interest in this watch other than to past it on. but as i dont own a " alarm " function l.e.d , apart from my lanco alarm which has a non functioning module. i'm curious to know how to set it. or perhaps its faulty.

any info would be great.

Hi FG.
If it's a Frontier alarm module, here are the instructions (link halfway through the thread):

If it's got a piezo in the caseback, then odds on it's an alarm module. I only know of one LED alarm module.........the Frontier. If it works, and you don't want it, you could always swap it into the Lanco.

The link is broken but I have the exact same case albeit with a Helbros stamp on the crystal.

To set the alarm.

1. Press the command button at the 9 o'clock position, this will display the hour and 'A' or 'P' for AM and PM.
2. Advance the hour to the required time by pressing and holding in the command button at the 11 o'clock position.
3. Press the command button at the 9 o'clock position again this will now display the tens of minutes (1 -5) advance the digit to the required time by pressing and holding in the command button at the 11 o'clock position.
4. Press the command button at the 9 o'clock position a third time and it will now display the minutes (0 - 9) advance the digit to the required time by pressing and holding in the command button at the 11 o'clock position.
5. The alarm time is now set.
6. To switch on the alarm press the command button at the 11 o'clock position twice - the display will flash to denote that the alarm is switched on.
7. When the alarm sounds press the command button at 11 o'clock twice to switch off or hit snooze using the command at 2 o'clock (one snooze only - switches off on second press).

The first link to the forum discussion works OK for me the second link contained within that discussion that you refer to doesn't (http://www.dwf.nu/Gallery/albums/userpi ... struct.jpg ) this one shows as 'forbidden' do both of them work for you?

Just figured it out.
I Googled 'frontier led alarm'.
Clicked on the first image that was returned (the instructions image).
This took me to Eds post, from where I could click his gallery link and the the image re-appeared.
If I then refreshed the page, the 'Forbidden' page was returned.

So the browser was caching the image that Google had presented.
Apologies for the dud link.
