Need help with a broken part for a Beltime LED

Post25 Jan 2014, 01:53

Hello,

Changed batteries on my vintage Beltime LED watch recently and after a slight mishap snapped both of the angled legs off the bit of metal which slots between the batteries.

Now looking for a replacement.

Can anyone help or point me in the right direction ?

See attached image.

Thanks
Mike

this really must be an incredible board :-D

Even quiet members are served on their difficult questions.... it's not easy to find that part..most of the people who have such a watch needs that part to keep it working.
So just take the part that is broken... fold the parts straight so it's all flat. Then search for a thin metal plate and cut the same shape out with scissors. Bend it again like it was en there you go. :secret:

It is indeed an incredible board :-D

Thanks for your advice, that's a cunning plan, I'll see what I can rustle up.

Many thanks
