Clearly. And there was me worrying about my pension...

Yeah, you would... Aside from the price generated by some kind of mental defect, I lost count of the things wrong with this auction. No mention of "goldfilled" in the title, just "gold", by omission suggesting the watch is solid gold (not a trivial distinction). Wrong box (the early P2s came in one of the "blue" boxes...the brown clamshell was nearly a year in the future when this watch was made). NOT the Bond model; that was a 2900...this is a 2970. Probably not the original module; a P2 this early in the production would have had a 201-1 module...this has a 201-2 (probably a factory repair). It just astounds me to see how far some people will go to hype something fairly ordinary, and not be content to describe it as what it simply is...early P2, 14K goldfilled, nice condition, later module and Pulsar box...a $500 or so package. Sort of makes you wonder what color the sky is in this guy's world...

My first thought was nipper, but then I thought no this is a clever marketing ploy, it gained some coverage here, and probably elsewhere too, I don't think nipper is that clever.

I noticed that he has the exact same watch for sale in an open auction, I think the seller is hoping that potential bidders will compare the two auctions and bid high thinking that the watch must be worth a lot of money.
