I think that story goes way back to the days before I joined the forum and his absence is a result of the fall out that centred around the sale of some Pulsar glass crystals which some sellers said were fake and others said were genuine, the whole thing was not pretty and ended in an almighty mess and led to bans being imposed and a lot of ill feeling between the high end collectors. Its probably a can of worms best left unopened.

Thanks Mick I knew I could rely on you for a balanced opinion.
Well now I will offer my two pen'rth.
I checked his history and noticed he had sold a few Commodore Led's.
I needed a replacement for mine so I asked him if he had one he could
sell to me?
His reply went thus:

He didn't ask me to start this thread, I offered in return for the screen. Which turned up 2 days later,
in perfect condition. It seemed the least I could do.

Ps just so everyone knows my view on banning.
Prohibition didn't work, doesn't work and never will work.

Btw ...from the day this new crew took over the board from Retroled, nobody has got a permanent ban. Sometimes we had to give a temporary cool off punishment ..(only 2 in the last years), but it's to protect people from them selfs doing or saying stupid things.
A few nights sleep can do wonders sometimes...and everybody can have a bad day.
