1977 Caravelle LED

Post01 Feb 2014, 18:20

Just started getting into watches and I think digital LED watches are my favorite. I came across this Caravelle watch and I can't find any documentation or any information on it and I was wondering if you guys know anything about it.

"Caravelle" is a brand from "Bulova". Made in Hong Kong, the Case back has the code "N7" where N stands for "1970s" and "7" for "1977". Module is a "Hughes aircraft" if i remember right. features DOW, date, seconds, time. Stainless Steel, Water resistant. Collectors value is rather low, since neither the brand nor the technical or design aspects are quite desirable. Not much else to tell here i fear...

That's too bad. This is probably my favorite watch. I guess I will just use this as my every day watch. Thanks for the info.

Well sorry if you expected it to be of big value. But even in mint condition and with Box and paperwork it would not be worth much, I'd rate it 150-200 USD in perfect condition with all accessories. But for everyday wear still fine.

Well seeing as I only paid 30 dollars for it I don't think I did that bad. Haha. I wasn't expecting it to be extremely valuable either. I was just wondering if there was any info on this, because the only thing I could find on the internet was a single picture. I am curious if this is the only LED Caravelle made though. I appreciate the info.

There are at least 3 different LED models by Caravelle, but all are very similar - round face, stainless steel, they only differ a little bit.
