Because of the construction of the mesh bracelets, there is no length adjustment, beyond what the clasp length will permit. Time Computer worked around this by making three bracelet lengths (essentially, a small, medium, and large; the same thing was done for the stainless steel model); adjustment at the clasp was arranged to allow a bit of overlap in the sizes, to fully cover the range of wrist sizes (in fact, at 7 1/2 inches, your wrist is actually a bit on the plus side of average). I imagine many Pulsar dealers kept a small stock of bracelets for the Dress models, and the watch was fitted with the necessary size one at the time of purchase. Large bracelets seem to be the commonest (my wrist is 6 3/8 inches, and I have found only one bracelet that will let the watch fit me, so I'm guessing the short ones are relatively rare). It's purely a matter of luck, now, to find the size you need. The situation with the solid 14K gold ones is even stranger...because of the tiny clasp, there is only a 1/4-inch range of adjustment. The watch had to be sent back to Time Computer, and the bracelet was actually cut to a custom length (and the clasp hook re-welded) to fit the customer

(after what was, no doubt, a VERY careful measurement of the person's wrist). I have six of the 7408s, and every one is a slightly different length, with more than an inch between the shortest and longest (only the shortest one fits me).
