WHAT is the big deal here??? ALL P2s were made in 1972 and 1973; it was effectively discontinued in late 1973 when the Date/2 and P3 went into production. The bracelet date codes are a general indicator, at best. I have three P1s with bracelet codes in 1971 (the earliest, 8-71, in fact). Does that mean they were making P1s in August of 1971? Of course not; it just means they made the bracelets before they made the cases. Serial numbers are a much better criterion for determining when something was made (if you doubt that, you should visit the Winchester, Rolex, and Colt websites). Show me a P2 serial number under 11000, and I will be mightily impressed (under 12000, ordinarily impressed). The constant overhype on these is disgusting :~# , so STOP IT, already! And jagmad, as far as your "point" not getting through, maybe it just needs to be traveling at ballistic velocity...

Oh, I don't think I'll EVER get tired of bragging about something nobody has ever done before. I think it was Babe Ruth, when asked if he was bragging about his home-run total, who said "If you can do it, it ain't bragging". It's just a statement of fact, and if you feel threatened or intimidated by that, that pleases me no end (makes the $100K investment that much more worth while). Of course, in your rush to take a pot-shot at me, you've TOTALLY missed the point I was trying to make, too. Guess it wasn't travelling fast enough to get through, either. And this lame attempt to conceal the serial number...what's that about? Taking lessons from that fool in Canada, now?
Finally, don't even TRY to spew this nonsense that you quit dealing with me...I DUMPED YOU! I'm ashamed to admit that it took me far too long to get fed up with your BS on eBay..."In my father's collection for 40 years" "NOS" "Never worn". On and on and on...yadda, yadda. yadda. Every syllable of it a lie. What broke the camel's back was some idiot on your end opening a claim for over $800, because, for whatever reason, I forgot to send a tracking number. I ended up on the phone with the President of PayPal, and it was they who dismissed the case, not you, because it was so clearly bogus (I have never heard of another situation where this has happened) You NEVER failed to get anything I sent you, and as for the watches being "rubbish", that's a hot steaming load, too. "Has to have mint glass", "must have 21-22 link bracelet"...watches literally built to specification...and I DELIVERED, every time! Considering the often-stupid prices people paid for these, I must have done some fantastic work, as evidenced by your still-100% positive feedback (how that's still the case I am inclined to view as a miracle of near-Biblical magnitude). Finally, I regard every day I don't have to deal with you as a personal gift from Providence (although sharing the same Hemisphere with you sometimes grates a little).
So, go ahead, have the last pathologically-driven last word; if you think that makes you right, the brain chemistry is even more bollixed-up than I thought...
