Stainless Steel GP Casquette On Ebay

Post01 Jun 2014, 09:06

Price looks reasonable, a SASM module is available if the original is beyond repair, might be a good buy at the price.. ... .. .. item number 221453438455

It's listed with a buy it now price so be quick if you want it!

I have no connection with the seller and it is not my auction, buy at your own risk - it's eBay you pay your money you take your chances. ~:(

Gone already...but, $449 was a bargain-basement price. The only-97% positive feedback is a bit of a red flag; still, Paypal would cover you, if the item never showed up. Being stainless, I could make this look like it had never been worn. But, as far as putting anything other than an original module back in something like this...that's something I could never do.

I was tempted but the eBay enforced import duties of $128 put me off, especially when it wasn't even clear the item was in the states. I don't think there was any fear of it not turning up, his negs were for pens he'd sold that had missing insides, I guess there's a chance it could have been an empty case

I was tempted but the postage and import costs for UK buyers along with the potential cost of replacing/repairing the module and case refurbishment would of brought the price up to very close to the current market value, it was more of a bargain for the USA buyer I think.

I wont ever bid on Global Shipping Program item. Its killing bidding from outside of the USA. I guess the sellers don't know that half the time.

Well it's not for the want of trying from me. I just point 'em towards our link in general discussion.
It normally does the trick, if they only have one item listed, they can change/cancel it.. :-)
9 times out of 10 sellers have thanked me for letting them know.

That's interesting. Well if I see anything I want to bid on in the future with the global shipping programme I will contact the seller and ask them to change shipping.

They can only do it if they have no other items listed through it??? :secret:

Ebay locking it up again. Although the last time this happened to me the seller said ignor the G S P and they would
change at the end. When they realised they couldn't, they contacted me direct saying the only way they could do it
was to cancel the transaction with ebay, and do it direct, which we did, sharing the savings. :-) :-D ;-)
