Weird. Some friends bidding for the seller so that he can get a "nice price"?

I'm not the most knowledgeable on here (by a long way) but the top row I don't believe are led's..
( Hang on I'm sure I've got a pic of one of these without the crystal )
Also if they were, they are above the thicker part of the red plexi which protrudes through
the face of the case so surely be covered by the case and unreadable.
Below is a pic of the Mostek out of my Bulova Hex which I posted a problem about some time ago.
(only works when cold)
Hexmodule bare fnt.jpg

I'm glad you gave me cause to go back though my pics, (found a load of stuff I'd forgot about)
and unless I'm much mistaken it is the module I need to fix my £100 max Bulova Hex.
Also there is no pic of it in the listing actually working. Hang on, wait a minute.
What if I take the module out and sell it on it's own, keep the watch and make a cool £200.. M:)W:)M

The little L7 parts are digit-driver transistors. As for the bidding frenzy, somebody thought they needed this really bad, and had the money to throw at it...the stainless Date/Command that went for $1350 a few years ago comes to mind. At the other end of the spectrum are the impossible bargains...a solid 14K Dress watch for $750, or a boxed, flawless 901 Calculator for $565. I just try to stay out of the line of fire when the wild bids start flying...

Not surprising really BUT THIS IS BEING RELISTED DUE TO A NON PAYING BIDDER.

Maybe he bought this one instead...http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/171473046145? ... EBIDX%3AIT

I'm pretty sure it's the same module !!

Personally at that price I would of offered it to the next highest bidder (if he really existed?) rather than re-listing it. The next highest bidder was an ebay ''newbie' with a feedback score of only 2, hmmm I know how I interpret this.. .. .. with a large dollop of scepticism!

Agreed Mick that's why I said "Not surprising really"

I feel that the last credible bid was probably :
m***m ( 545Feedback score is 500 to 999) US $40.00

Which isn't far from wrong IMHO.. :Prost:
