I sold one in same condition on eBay around 10 years ago, it went for £750, will be interesting to see how much this one makes.

Mine worked too, it was sold untested, I popped some batteries in when it arrived and it fired right up. Looking at that thread you posted it went for £650 not £750, my memory isn't what it used to be

Ah Haaa, so your the lucky one who buys not tested (honest) watches and comes up smelling of roses! ;-) :grin1:

To be fair I've had my share of yipee moments too. Including bagging my pop up by a fluke of checking ebay one
last time before retiring to bed. Don't know what made me refresh the page before shutting down?
Never did it before that day, now I find I have to.

Problem is mine could do with a bit better band, the gold is stating to leave it's rightful place. :-(

I've had more than my fair share of sold as is that we're completely ruined by leaky batteries, sometimes whole batches of 10+ watches and every one ruined. But I've definitely come out on top at the end of it all and that's what counts.

Hey No pain no gain eh? :grin1:
My worst one was 25+ mostly NOS all with the dreaded leakage and as with you not one worked.
But I agree as a whole we're both up so....
:amen: to that.

That's what I thought, I know it's a rare piece but blimey I'd have thought £1000 would be more than enough to buy that watch

Maybe he didn't actually want to sell it but was just curious how much it would go up to.

Final bid in the last few seconds was 1146 pounds (1500US$), which did not meet the reserve (and I'm thinking it was a US bidder, to make the dollar amount come out so even). My guess would be 1500 as the reserve. Maybe worth the price, if this was something you'd wanted all your life (after all, I paid 10000 pounds for my first P1, so any criticism I might make here would have a pretty hollow ring to it).

Microma Blade runner???

I've always called it the Mad Max cos of the silly prices they fetch.
Just because of association to a film.

Mad because you never know what the Max price they will make.

Just my warped sense of humour again.

Sorry about me. :ha:
