Repair of an iwatch2 womans model

Post15 Nov 2017, 14:24

The babysitter (14 year old) of my daughter saved all her money to buy an Apple iwatch thingy. 14 days later she dropped it from the table and the glass broke. Thats 280 euro says apple cause glass is not ensured in the waranty. She cried cause she just spent all her savings so Kasper to the rescue :-D
Its an apples iwatch 2 lady model...it took me 4 months to source the correct front digitizer panel. Nobody of my chinese friends had one or wanted to repair the watch. I almost gave up but then i found one and i repaired her watch. I'm superman now for her... M:)W:)M

Cracking job Kasper well done on all counts.

Makes you wonder why they make the glass so vulnerable and not protect it like the Casio Janus and recess it?

Oh I know why, £££££££ or $$$$$$$

I have a 73 Celica 5 speed manual, still have it, bought it in 75. The door arm rest is 6" to low. BUT it really looks good when the door is open as it divides the door in thirds (very artistic). Another case of engineering being overridden by marketing artitsts :grin1:

I agree 100% Geoff.
Hmm.
So is that why the Pebble watch wasn't as successful as it should'ave been?
Because of its protected (recessed glass)?
People thinking it looked ugly?
;-)
