Hi Simone,
Only You may find in an old watch store - and even more - even a Sicilian one :grin1: - 2 (TWO!) Casios with the rare Casio Module QW79. :mega:
They may have cost about 90 USD - each, at the launching time and were rare even in the early '80s...
Regards, :Prost:
Every watch should have its own story...consequently, a watch collector has to be a good storyteller :)

Hi Cybr, thanks.I really love to try to discover old watches in stores...it's a challenge! :mega:
Here a 1980 page from Casio Catalogue. The stainless steel version had a less price (69.99 USD) than the gold plated one (89.99 USD). :-D
If the Italian old price for the stainless steel was 165.000 LIRE I can suppose the gold plated was nearly 200.000 LIRE  (a big amount of money in 1979-80).But we have to think that it was a dual layer LCD panel, fully calendar until 2099,ten tone pitches and a superb liquid crystal digits layout.
Just think that the Seiko D031 was priced 175.000 LIRE in 1981 :Prost:
