The first watch has an orange rubber 'doughnut' under the battery compartment.
I've sen this on other watches.................Beltime I think.
Anyone know what it is ?

I've seen the rubber rings before too, on MBO watches, pretty sure that's the alarm contact and I always assumed the rubber ring was to stop the contacts bending down away from making contact with the speaker.

It's nice to see some lesser known brands - obviously we all know Sanyo and they actually did some interesting watches back in the day.

Here's my 80's home brand special - it looks like a Seiko module, but who knows.
