Gosh. I'm not 100% sure. I've not opened up the case but the Crazywatches page for the two oval designs suggest they are identical. I think the only difference might be the contact pads forming those cool hollow dividers on the Lucien Piccards.

Yes, I think you're correct, the photos on the Crazywatches page confirms the same Optel round module. I wonder why they opted to issue more of the rectangular modules vs the round? Perhaps at that time the round design was too conventional?
