Is this the same module as the BWC DSM watch?

Yes this is exactly that module, if you look its the same watch as on Ed's site here:

It's strange that the text of that article mentions low contrast display - in the picture it looks close to 100%. Maybe that's just photographic effects. Anyone know if the display looks that good in person?

The display looks good in person, but only under perfect lichting and reflection conditions. In practice, DSMs are terrible to read. I've posted this more than once :wink:
Had I known for sure that this is the same module as the BWC, I would have doubled my bid :wink: - but if I had asked it here, it would have drawn too much attention. Probably. Anyway, saved me money :wink:
