Thanks guys - just wanted a reality check. The watch was sold as working in the "just under $100" price range.....not some $10 mystery piece(I've bought thousands of those). I am assuming it was a intentional screw-job, which is why the batteries were not in it. I mean, hell, they were in it for the auction, why take them out?
