"Cheap" SS GP

Post25 Mar 2008, 20:40

I guess you all watched the auction for this "GIRARD PERREGAUX "Casquette" 9931 a Led ANNI 70". Apparently unworn, working, like-new condition, with box and papers and hangtag, nice photos. It sold for "only" 1110€. Why not more? I had expected it to go for 1400€ minimum. Was it the Italian auction text? Wrong time (easter holidays)?
Compare this to member h00bt's SS GP - quite worn (but still good), no box, no papers, sold for approc 806€.

Yeah it still looks good. I like both of them. I will try to find them at decent prices on Ebay.

Can you still see those ebay items? I can't :-( What's the trick?
Good luck in finding a cheap GP. I have enough of it, mine has started to occasionally run fast again - well at least I can say I had worn it as much as possible while it was still working reliably
