has anyone bought this connect space watch?
i would like to see a direct photo comparison between it and a pulsar p3
i know it wont match it on quality (not the solid link version anyway)
but as a wearable alternative to your precious collection of vintage models, perhaps its the best alternative?

A good while back when I didn't know any better I bought one of the first Connect LED’s second hand and to be quite frank in my opinion it’s complete junk, cheap case, poor quality bracelet and rubbish module (weak digits and tiny display). I don’t know what the latest ones are like surely they can’t be as bad as mine. I’d keep a hold of your money and buy an proper authentic 70’s LED.

I have one of the space LED watches that look like the P3. I bought it quite a while ago (couple years). The case is actually rather nice and very close to the original in size and shape (though not identical). The problem is with the module. The display is just too weak, it washes out in just moderate daylight. It's very similar to the original Fossil modules that came out several years ago. Fossil has a much better (actually excellent) module in their newer LEDs. I wouldn't spend the money on it unless you're only going to use it indoors or at night.
