Beer KEG

Yep, alcohol on the brain....my oldest step-daughter got married Saturday(two days ago).... The wedding was fabulous - 220 people, gorgeous church ceremony in a round sanctuary(Catholic). Reception was excellent(but expensive, my wallet is seriously hurting) - full waiter service, excellent selection of beef, chicken, vegetables, salad, desserts, dj for dance music, open(free bar). We had paid for a block of rooms at very nice Marriot hotel nearby, so the party continued until 6 a.m.(I gave up around 3 and crawled with the wife back to our room). Then we had a buffet breakfast downstairs at the hotel around 11 am. Then we loaded up everyone and had a gift opening party in the mid-afternoon, at the new couple's house. Detoxing is the least of it....I'm afraid of the poses the photographers caught us in. !@@! They say I gave a very nice prayer before the meal.....bit of a blur so I'll have to wait and see the video. 8-)

Wine VAT

BTW Congratulations..!!!

On a totally different scale - We had visitors around (it was our turn to be the host.!) Dinner was Chinese dumpling washed down with Chinese (55% Proof) wine. I can assure you the glasses were only the size of thimbles, but even so it was not that many before our room was a blur... :~#

SNAP

A true tale of snips gone bad.....
After 4 kids(aand now 3 step-children), a snip didn't seem so bad. As MIchael Douglas said in some movie," you sit on a bag of frozen peas for an evening and you're all set." As it turns out, the doctor bungled the f'n job(apparently they sometimes grab the same tube in two spots thinking it is two tubes, and accomplished nothing. After a year of showing up at the clinic and getting told ,"gee Mr. Cantarella, these would be great numbers if you were in our fertility program" the late wife said," forget it, I'll go get MY tubes done". :o

FATHER

SNIP - I must admit to being the classic Michael Douglas version 12 years ago - except in my case it was frozen beans (That's all the was suitable in the freezer at the time.) I don't care how much pain there could be - i was not going to sit there with part of a dead (abet frozen) animal between my legs.

BOBO

The Clayton Bobo is an underground train used in mines for the transportation of men and materials, see the fifth picture down on the link - excellent piece of machinery driven by highly skilled individuals - I know I used to drive one :-D and on occasion crash them
