Sorry no more worth scanning, I do have a catalogue page with a few mechanical digi watches, I'll scan that and post it in the mech digi section.

I stuck the kettle on made a nice cup of tea and browsed the excellent scans, I was expecting a couple but they just kept on scrolling into view........it was nice to see a couple of familiar faces in amongst them.

Do you think it would be worth phoning the order number, the Frontier alarm looks tempting at $39.95  Interesting to note the gold tone was the more expensive option.

VERY NICE!
What Popular Science Magazine Issue did the first scans on your list come from? (Month/Yr., Volume, Issue#)
Great uploads!

No idea which issue they came from sorry, I bought this collection from a guy in Europe years ago, bought quite a few watches from him at the time too, he was a big LED collector who just decided he'd had enough and sold everything off on eBay.

Thanks for the trip through your time machine.

The predictions were interesting. They follow the usual route of extrapolating current trends endlessly into the future:
More - LEDs in more colors and more functionality!
Better - Increased accuracy with up to 1MHz quartz crystals!
Cheaper - soon under $50!

Instead, we got "good enough" and "cheaper". Predictable. It would be nice if your time machine had a setting for exploring alternate futures. I would like to see where those multicolored LEDs would have led - multicolored digital / analog LED displays? We'll never know.

-abe.
