Solid gold P2 price

Post20 Jul 2010, 01:52

I've been keeping an eye on this auction with great interest as I have same watch and always wondered what it was worth - http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=130408358204&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT#ht_1183wt_694 - is this a good reflection of the value of this model of P2.

This was reasonably close, but still too low, by $400-500. The other one, the 2980 [full 14K bracelet and case, plus the rare box], didn't even make melt value [so the malfunctioning module was irrelevant, though repairable]. So, a fair indication of value? Nope, just an indication of how desperately bad an ecomonic climate we're in right now. Some economists are saying it hasn't been worse since the 1930s; seeing things like this makes me believe it.
